Can you tell us the backstory of this song? Is it from a real experience?
There were people at school who weren’t the nicest to me and would always tell me that I wouldn’t make it. “Shut the door,” is about shutting out those toxic people in your life and being there for yourself.
Do you have any more new music coming out soon?!! If so, Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to next year?!?
I’m about to release my first debut EP called Feelings, so just make sure to look out for that!
What led you to pursue music as a career?
I was always a natural born performer and once I was really able to appreciate music for the first time I knew that it was always going to be a part of me.
Where did your love of music come from?
Freddy Mercury and Amy Winehouse are what really made me fall in love with music.
What’s something your fans don’t know about you?
Many people don’t know that I’m Russian and Canadian! I also make beaded jewelry on the side to sell.
Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?
I would really love to meet Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande.
Any last things you want to tell your supporters?
Dream big and never give up! I appreciate everyone who’s supported me and kept encouraging me to do more.
