Hey Tim, So excited to be chatting with you!

It’s my pleasure! Thank you for having me!

Where did your love of acting come from?

My mother instilled a love of music in me when I was very young and then took me to see my first live theater piece when I was only four years old. That was it, I was hooked!

Do you have any rituals before filming a show?

Before filming or stage work, I just like to be by myself for a bit and meditate and reflect and try to get into the mindset of the character I’m about to play.

What goals have you set out for yourself in your career?

Continue to do work that I’m passionate about and stop worrying about what other people are doing.

Overall, how has this whole acting career experience been for you so far?

It’s been a blessing and a curse, but mainly a blessing. Rejection is always hard, but when you hear the word “yes”, this is a really beautiful business.

What’s your favorite part about being an actor?

The give-and-take between my costars. And the energy I receive from the audience, if I’m doing a stage play.

What is one movie that has greatly influenced your life?

In The Bedroom (The acting is pitch perfect all around!)

What has been your favorite acting role to date?

Patrick Nolan in the film “Yes”

What would be your dream acting role?

Adam Sorenson in Neil LaBute’s “The Shape of Things.” Luckily, I just had the chance to play him, but I want to do it again!

Do you have any projects in the works you can tell us about?

In a few months, I begin principal photography on my next feature film, which is tentatively titled “Bobcat Moretti”, about a man who finds the strength in himself using the art of boxing as his tool.

If you could have a gigantic billboard anywhere with anything on it — metaphorically speaking, getting a message out to millions or billions — what would it say and why? (If helpful, it can be someone else’s quote: Are there any quotes you think of often or live your life by?)

You haven’t failed just because someone you know has succeeded. We all have a different path in this world.

What is an unusual habit or an absurd thing that you love?

I love making crickets sounds.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to pursue a career in acting? What advice should they ignore?

Just be kind to everyone you meet, you never know who that person is. Ignore anyone who tells you to think that you’re better than others. Confidence is one thing, arrogance is quite another.

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, or have lost your focus temporarily, what do you do?

I sit down and I try to write something new.

What social media platform do you use most? Where can people find out what projects you have going on?

I use Facebook the most, but mainly for personal things, but I announce all of my professional stuff on Instagram.

Do you have any other talents other than acting?
I love teaching and I think I’m pretty good at it. I’m also a writer.
Any last things you’d like to tell your supporters?
Please be yourself! There’s only ONE you in the entire world!!
Thanks for taking the time to do this interview!
Anytime!
