TEEN MUSIC INSIDER PRESENTS: NEW MUSIC FRIDAY

This week, we have a star studded new music release from country king, Cole Swindell, rising pop icon, Caroline Romano and a vulnerable indie pop smash by Carlos Vara. Check out the full list of the hottest new releases this week.

Carlos Vara- “Impossible”

    Vara is back to take the indie pop realm by storm with his highly anticipated release, “Impossible,” featuring his iconic vulnerable lyrics and unique voice create a beautiful love ballad addressed to someone who cannot love him back. The relatable song is poetic and relatable to everyone, and Vara’s delicate voice and lyricism pull the heartstrings, while adding in his classic, confidence claiming that their love won’t “rain on my parade.” Check out the powerful new song and music video below.

Caroline Romano- “Games”

    The Lorde-esque pop artist, Caroline Romano, just dropped a surprise single release today, entitled “Games.” The poppy song hones in on the frustrating modern dating culture, reminding everyone that they shouldn’t have to play games to win over someone’s heart. With meaningful lyrics like, “Does anybody have to lose, does anybody need to win, I don’t care as long as I get you in the end,” Romano portrays the emotional frustration often felt when playing games with someone that you care about.

Cole Swindell- “Dad’s Old Number Live”

    Country radio star Cole Swindell released a live version of “Dad’s Old Number” today, and the nostalgia is rushing back to us. The live version of the song projects even more raw emotions from Swindell, as we hear him going through the motions live. The love and compassion spills out from the star, as he pours his heart out for the Father’s Day special. This track is a must listen!

Liddy Clark- Testing the Waters (Unplugged)

    Rising country starlet, Liddy Clark has just dropped an acoustic version of her EP entitled Testing the Waters. Liddy’s unplugged version of her hit EP shows a vulnerable and personal approach to each song, and Liddy shares an incredibly relatable transition into adulthood.

Jenna Paulette- “Wild Like the West”

    Country’s brunette bombshell, Jenna Paulette released her new single, “Wild Like The West” today, and it perfectly captures her New West style, which mixes traditional country with synth pop vibes. “Wild Like the West” is chocked full of independent, strong lyrics that promotes women to live freely.
