Hey Guys!! So excited to be chatting with all of you. What led to you guys forming “TRHibe”?

Our band name has been “The Runaway Hamsters” since we were 5 & 7 years old.  As we have gotten older, we have transitioned our name into The Runaway Hamsters aka TRHibe or just TRHibe.

How did you guys all meet & become a band?

We are a sibling group…older sister Isabella and triplets Abby, Gabby & Riley.  So we have known each other for life.

What’s the meaning of the name “TRHibe”?

The Runaway Hamsters Inspirational Band Extraordinaire

What’s the difference from your band and all bands that are currently doing well?

We are siblings & triplets so that’s pretty unique.   We all sing, play instruments and are also songwriters.

Can you tell us a little something about each of you?

Isabella – I’m the drummer in the group, but on a side note I love to sneak up and scare people.

Abby – I play the keyboard. I’m also a photographer.  My favorite subjects to photograph are birds.

Gabby – I play bass, guitar, piano and ukulele. I’m appropriately named and I love fashion. My dream duet would be Dolly Parton.

Riley – I play guitar and I love history.

What inspired you guys to pursue music?

We were taking piano lessons at the very early age of 3 which sparked the desire to learn more instruments.  And because there are 4 of us it was easy to start a band!  After a friend of ours got sick with cancer, we made a one song cd and sold it help him out. We donated 100% of the profits.  People from all over the country purchased it after Fox News in NYC did a story on us.  We have always loved to help others and that experience cemented it for us.  That we will always do what we can to inspire and help those in need.

How would you describe your musical style as a band?

Country-pop.  It’s interesting because we love and play both old country & new country.

What artists do you guys look up to right now?

Kacey Musgraves, Dolly Parton, Keith Urban, Brett Eldridge, The Oak Ridge Boys, to name just a few.

Are there any projects in the works you can tell us about?

We are currently working on a new project with a release in 2020.  We have already recorded 2 of the unreleased songs. This will be our fourth project & we cannot wait to share it.

What was it like finding out you guys are the newest members of CMA?

Gabby – Overly exciting!

Abby – Jaw dropping

Riley – Awesome

Isabella – I’m very grateful

Has this accomplishment helped boost your career?

Being members of the CMA is such an honor.  We are surrounded by incredibly talented artists who do so much for country music.  We have been welcomed into another incredible family and look forward to collaborating with them.

Why do you think social media is so important for singers today?

You are able to instantly connect with people from all over the world who you probably would not have met otherwise.  It is so fun to make new friends, meet new artists and share your music.  A few years ago we were in Nashville for CMA Fest.  We were in our hotel room and could hear The Oak Ridge Boys performing at the stadium.  We already loved their music so we recorded us singing “Elvira” in our room and tweeted it out to them.  Not only did they like it, but they retweeted it and we became twitter friends.  Fast forward to last year, they came to our home state Idaho and we went to see them perform.  They called us out of the audience and took us backstage to sing and chat.  When they started their show, they told everyone in the audience about us and our music.  They have become great friends.  All because we were able to connect with them via twitter and most importably because they are really awesome guys!  Isn’t that the coolest?!

What do you want your relationship to be like with your fans?

We hope they are friends and feel like part of our musical family.  We want them to be a part of our TRHIBE.  It’s important for us that they know we truly love the relationship and are grateful for every single one of them.  We want to be a positive influence to others, to do good and spread kindness around the world.  To make someone smile or brighten their day is very rewarding.

How has this whole music career experience been?

An amazing journey filled with fun, travel, lots of hard work, commitment, following your passion, making sacrifices, and very fulfilling to see something you wrote and performed be played all over the country, on Apple, Spotify or Pandora and all social media platforms.  We have watched our Youtube channel grow from 1 view to almost 2 MILLION.  How amazing is that?

Do you have any last things you want to tell your supporters?

Thank you!  Thank you for believing, encouraging and riding along on this crazy journey with us.  For those who have a dream we would say follow your heart, work hard and never give up.  Be your authentic self because there really is only one you.  And Lastly, FOLLOW US on social media: Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter.
