Hey Taylor! So excited to be chatting with you! Your new single “Rich Kids” pays homage to your roots . How excited are you that it’s finally out?

I’m so excited that “Rich Kids” is finally out into the world.

Tell us about the concept of the single – we love it!

Well, I’ve always kind of felt like an underdog my whole life. I come from a hard-working family. My parents made ends meet and weren’t handed anything. They did their best to pass those ethics down to me and I always wanted to show that appreciation in a song.

What do you want your fans to take away from your music and live shows?

I want my fans to feel like they are part of the bigger picture when they listen to my music, and that they are not alone. Whether they are listening to the record or standing front row at a show, I think it’s important that my fans are able to escape whatever it is about their reality that’s weighing heavy on their heart. Music was always an escape or a therapy session for me if I can give that to someone, that’s a job well done in my head and heart.

What are your release plans for 2020? Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to?

2020 is a year where I will be spending more time working on new material and going back into the studio to record an E.P. to be released in early 2021. My fans can definitely expect a few more tunes trickling down the pipeline over the next 11 months.

What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?

Validation

Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?

If I had to meet anyone in the music business right now it would be Eric Church. He’s the real deal.

Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?

Without social media artists like me would all just be knocking on doors and making cold calls waiting on an opportunity for exposure. It allows us to be tangible to our fans right away, which is crucial for keeping people interested in what you’re doing.

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

I would just like to give a big thanks to everyone. Its hard industry to break through in, so every bit of support is what keeps me believing in myself. Peace and love!
