LA-based musician, Sullivan Marsters will be releasing a new music video for his whimsy, reggae-tinged single, “Frequent Flyer” on May 1st. The 24-year-old multi-instrumentalist, who originally hails from Seattle scrambled to film all the videos (including “Frequent Flyer”) for his forthcoming EP while in lockdown. The video was filmed using only his desktop lamp and the wall of his bedroom; a challenge he calls “exciting.”

Marsters picked up the guitar at age 12, mimicking Hendrix solos note for note within 6 months. At 14, he made his onstage debut in LA, and excelled to the point of touring both the US and Europe with his band, Ghost of the Robot.

Now performing as a solo artist, Marsters–who likens himself to FKA Twigs, Weezer and Mac Demarco–has taken ownership of each step of the creative process, composing and performing all the instruments heard in his work.

His first EP, “Lines and Color” is a collection of songs written during a 9 month period when he was traveling the Asian Pacific Rim through China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and more. While performing far and wide, Marsters has experienced a vast and varying terrain of social, physical and political climates, all of which are evident in his unique material.

The “Frequent Flyer” video will be available via Youtube and Marster’s other social channels on May 1st, and the single itself will be available for streaming or download across all major online media retailers on May 8th. You can also pre-save “Frequent Flyer” on Spotify via https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/sullivanmarsters/frequent-flyer.

Marsters plans to release a new video from his upcoming EP on the 1st of each month, and a new single on the 8th of each month leading up to July. The full EP, which was recorded mostly in Marster’s garage and finalized at Ultimate Studios in Panorama City, CA will be available everywhere on July 30th, and he will release subsequent “fun” videos following the official release.
