Hey Siaki, you started your acting career at a very young age, what inspired you to pursue acting?

I always knew I wanted to be an actor just from watching action movies, I told my parents I wanted to be an actor and their response was funny. They said we don’t know where to start but we’ll figure it out. After sitting me down to make sure that this really is what I wanted, because my parents have a rule which is “once we start we have to finish there’s no quitting, no taking breaks” So here I am.

Do you have any rituals before filming a show?

I would say the only ritual that I always make sure to do is say my personal prayer in thanks for the opportunity. It’s important to always show gratitude. I was taught that since I was a little kid.

Are there any acting projects in the works you can tell us about?

No upcoming projects at this specific time for film, but I do have a few upcoming auditions via eco cast submission. As for music I’m releasing new originals by winter 2020. I’m excited about that.

What are your friends and parents thoughts on your career in acting?

My parents and friends are very supportive so I suppose they’re happy for me.

What goals have you set out for yourself in your career?

I have long term goals that I work on throughout the year and I have short term goals that I work on weekly. I’m happy to say that my goals are realistic and so far so good.

Overall, how has this whole acting career experience been for you so far?

I’m not going to lie, it’s not easy and I have gotten many NO’s but I’m not focused on the No I’m more focused on that one YES! Which means I keep going until I get that yes.

What’s your favorite part about being an actor?

My favorite part about being an actor is being able to bring a character to life through me. It’s an amazing feeling and of course meeting the many talented talents along the way.

Do you have any advice for anyone trying to make it as an actor?

My advice for those who are trying to make it as an actor is to never give up. Never focus on all the No’s just look forward to that yes. It could take years but that one yes will make up for all the years of No’s.

Do you have any other talents other than acting?

I am considered a professional Tahitian dancer in the Polynesian dance world. I also sing, dance (hip-hop) play the piano, guitar and ukulele.

Do you have any last things you want to tell your fans?

Thank you for all the love and support throughout the years it never goes unnoticed. I am humbled and grateful.

Thanks for taking the time to do this interview!
