Hey Savannah!! So excited to be chatting with you about your new single “I Hate You”!! Can you tell us what this song means to you?

My producer Andrew Lane and I wanted to write a song about somebody betraying your trust but in a fun and upbeat way. I think the song can definitely put a more positive spin on an otherwise negative situation. Would I ever actually “write my name on his hood” or “take his card and charge anything I want to”? No I would not, but it’s certainly fun to sing about!

What’s been your reaction to the fans anticipation for your new single?

I’ve been overwhelmed with gratitude from all the interaction and anticipation. I’m so happy that they are as thrilled as I am for it to finally be released!

How excited are you to get this single out into the world?

I am incredibly excited! It’s been a long time coming and I’m super pumped for everybody to finally hear it!

Where did your love of music come from?

I have always loved music and singing ever since I can remember. My parents instilled a great appreciation for all types of music from rock, to rap, to country, to jazz to pop….I listened to everything! When I was younger, I would always go to concerts and festivals. However, when Jared Leto of 30 Seconds to Mars pulled me up on stage in front of 10,000 people, I got the performing bug. I knew then and there that I wanted to make music my career.

Do you have any other release plans for 2020?

I am working on some new music currently! Fingers crossed I can release some stuff very soon!

What do you hope your supporters will think of the new music?

In my new music, I am going towards a more edgy and alternative sound. Sort of like Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood. This has always been the music that I want to do and I am SO excited that I am finally heading that direction. I hope my supporters like it as much as I do!

How do you want your relationship to be like with your supporters?

My supporters are my best friends! I’m always talking to them on Instagram in my comments and DM’s. I’ve known some of them for YEARS and they have supported me since then. It’s such a special relationship and friendship that I think we’ve cultivated.

What’s something your fans don’t know about you?

I love to DIY anything and everything and I also love to cook! I love buying old furniture or antiques and fixing them up and giving them new life. I think stuff that has some age on it also has so many stories and a lot of character that new furniture does not. I do the same things with clothes as well! As for the cooking, I love making meals for my family and experimenting in the kitchen. I’m pretty new at it, but my family has been very impressed with the things I have cooked, so that’s definitely a good sign that I’m doing something right!

What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?

Don’t be afraid to come up to me and say hI! I absolutely LOVE meeting them in person. It’s fun to put a screen name or username that you see on Instagram to an actual real-life face and person.

What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?

Dreams! I have been able to accomplish some of my goals and dreams with the help and support of them! I wouldn’t be able to do it without them.

What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?

I hope I always give off a positive and fun vibe and message. Life can be so serious sometimes so I hope that my music can be an escape for them, or at the very least, they can relate to some of it. I LIVE for concerts and tour just happens to be my favorite thing ever, so I hope that my supporters really enjoy seeing me live. For a couple of hours at a show, you step away from the daily struggles and reality for a minute to just let loose and have some fun. It’s a place to escape and sing your heart out!

Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?

I am dying to meet George Strait, Dolly Parton, Kacey Musgraves, and Miranda Lambert! I love them all so much!

Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?

Social media is important in this day and age because it makes it so much easier to share who I am as an artist and person. I can bring people into my life and reach a far wider audience than ever before!

What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?

My biggest goal for myself is to either play the Opry or open up for somebody awesome like Miranda Lambert or George Strait.

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

Thank you so much for being on this crazy journey with me and standing by my side! Stick around because we’re just gettin’ started! Love you guys!

Thank you for taking the time to do this interview with us 🙂
