Hey Robert! So excited to be chatting with you! You just released your new single “Why Did I Lose a Friend”! It’s so good!! Can you tell us the backstory of this song? Is it from a real experience?
Yes, this song comes from a very personal experience. The song is basically about how a rumor ruined a friendship.
You also have more music coming out in 2020!! Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to next year?!?
I have a few more projects coming out in 2020 that I am so excited for! Maybe a new single & visual coming this November…
Do you have a creative say in your music? Did you help write all your new songs?
Yes, I write all my own music and occasionally I will cover another artists song.
What’s it feel like to be releasing your own original music?
It’s an amazing feeling. I’ve been writing for about 4 years now and to see my ideas that we’re written on paper come to life, is pretty awesome.
Will there be a music video for your new single? If so, can you tell us about the concept of the video 🙂
Yes there will be a music video for this single! I’m so excited for it. The concept is pretty cool in my opinion, it’s based upon mirrored images & sticky notes. It will be dropping pretty soon.
What’s been the pros and cons of pursuing your music career?
There’s many pros and cons when pursuing a music career. A pro for me is the feeling you get when you either start a brand new song or release a new song, it’s pretty amazing. A con for me is how not everyone is always going to support you.
Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?
There’s a few people I would like to thank and those people are my dad and my good friend, Ethan.
What do you think makes your fan community/fandom different from others?
My fan base is pretty diverse. We have people listening from the US & Canada all the way to Italy & Germany. My fan community means a whole lot to me.
How would you describe your fans? – what’s three words you would use to describe your fans?
supportive, creative & loving.
What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?
I want my fans to remember to do what you feel is best for you. Whether it’s pursuing a music career like me, or choosing the right college, you always have to do what you think will benefit you in the long run and I hope my fans can always take that away from my music.
What do you want your supporters to know that you think is important?
I want my supporters to know that even though some of them are hundreds of miles away I will always be there for them.
What’s something your fans don’t know about you?
If you are a new fan of mine, a fun fact is that i’m a lefty guitarist!
What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?
growth.
With an already massive fanbase your fans must they have a name for themselves. What do your fans call themselves? And How did that fanbase name catch on?
My fans actually do not have a name for themselves yet…However, maybe that’s something I should talk to them about! Make sure to tune in on insta for when the name is chosen!
Many of your supporters are starstruck when they meet you! Have you ever been starstruck?
It’s a really nice feeling when someone either recognizes you or comes up to you in public. So I could say that I have been starstruck when meeting a fan.
What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?
Don’t be afraid to come up to me! I’m always down to talk or take a pic.
Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?
yes in the future I would LOVE to work with Finneas & Billie Eilish.
Why do you think social media is so important for teen artists like yourself?
Social Media really helps artists, like myself, to put themselves out there!
What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?
A musical goal that I have for myself is to drop an album in the beginning of 2021.
