With a twinkling, clean production style, bouncy bassline & an incredibly catchy chorus, ‘Bring The Fire’ is the latest
release from Orisha Sound. The duo’s latest release will certainly lift spirits, make you forget all of your troubles and
get you itching to be on the dancefloor with a drink in your hand.
Written in Kingston, Jamaica – ‘Bring The Fire’ was the product of experimentation. The duo created several versions of this
track, including an acoustic version, trap-style, reggae-rock and a few electronic dance variations. The chosen one is this
incredible, high energy mix that is perfect for the club, with similarities to artists such as Aviici and Major Lazer. Delivering
breezy, fresh summer vibes, ‘Bring The Fire’ is a pure feel-good pop track which takes listeners back to the feeling of being
young & reckless. Taking inspiration from a stadium chant, ‘Bring The Fire’ spreads the message of living life to your fullest
potential.
“Follow your dreams, and share them with your friends and the world. No time to waste on any negative thoughts – we need
energy to survive, and to enjoy every moment of this magic experience called life!” – Orisha Sound
Shel-K and Orisha complete the incredible duo that are Orisha Sound – a musical pairing from Kingston, Jamaica and Los
Angeles, California. They combine elements of reggae, world and dancehall genres into their music with a touch of dance –
aspiring to uplift their listeners and create positive anthems for the world to hear.
Orisha is an American of Russian and Brazilian descent. An incredible singer, dancer and multi-instrumentalist (she plays over
15 instruments) – at just nine years old she was a child-prodigy virtuoso, touring in Europe and the United States. Since then
she has appeared on stage and been in the studio with Stevie Wonder, Jimmy Cliff, Stanley Clarke, Flo Rida, Snoop Lion, Bone
Thugs N Harmony, Sizzla, Beenie Man and many others.
Shel-K is a successful producer, singer and dancer from St Thomas, Jamaica, who was known on the island for his music
production and dance skills. He has been producing songs for top Jamaican acts including Gyptian, I-Wayne, Sizzla, Beenie
Man amongst many others throughout his career – and he’s even been the face of the well known Jamaican rum, ‘Wray and
Nephew’.
Their debut studio album – ‘Fire n Ice’ was released in February 2019, which included the singles ‘World War Three’ featuring
Beenie Man and ‘Embrace It’ featuring Sizzla Kalonji amongst many others. These singles have achieved consistent airplay on
UK, USA, Jamaican, African and Russian radio stations, and they have made several appearances on TV – including BBC
Breakfast for the FIFA World Cup, Moscow Kremlin, and London Live just to name a few.
Orisha Sound’s live show is a mix of incredible live music and true entertainment. The two electrifying artists have performed at
the Jazz and Blues International Festival, House of Blues, Hard Rock Café, Key Club, Viper Room, Portmore Festival and
many more throughout their career. Most recently, they have performed their collaboration ‘Jamaica’ with top Russian superstar
Oleg Gazmanov at The Kremlin. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Orisha Sound were able to perform a 2 hour solo concert
featuring their massive catalogue – selling out a 2000-cap venue in Russia. This show was the closing venue of their 9 stop tour
in Russia – and they certainly went out with a bang.
Their global appeal is stronger than ever after a number of recent collaborations with international DJs on their recent hit ‘Na Na
Na’. A total of 267 remixes were submitted for release consideration from DJs all over the world – and an album of the remixes
is set to release in March 2021.
