So excited to be chatting with you! You just released your new single! How excited are you that this song is finally out into the world?

Hello again Honored to be back and chatting with you again too! Thank you for having me I’m actually very excited for these next few releases!! This is a side of me I haven’t really shown or spoken about in any of my previous work, and I think it rings true for sooo many people. I know I can’t be the only one that sometimes wonders my soulmate is out there.. somewhere, right…? This song is an expression of how I feel subconsciously when it comes to finding my life partner, or what I believe that to be.. and it all started with a dream I had a couple years ago. I met this beautiful, mystical presence in a dream that was so real.. what I felt just HAD to be real. But every time I woke up, I just couldn’t remember her face, voice, or name. I actually enjoyed the grand allure and adventure of it all, if for nothing else, the mystery alone was intoxicating. I guess that’s the hopeless romantic in me!

What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song?

Well like I said, I think a lot of people have thoughts like, Does my soulmate exist? at least once in their lifetime. And when I create a song, I strive to create sounds that amplify my feelings/emotions about something. There’s a sound for every emotion, and I hope this song connects with the heart of whoever is listening to it. The message is, If you haven’t found love yet, you will one day.. sooner than you might think!

You also have more music coming out soon!! Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to from you this year?!?

I do have more music coming out very soon, and yessss!!! You have no idea how excited I am to show this side of me. Over time, as an artist, you upgrade, transform, evolve, and gain a deeper, clearer sense of what message you want to convey. I’ve gained a better understanding and a higher self-awareness, which I think is imperative to finding happiness in creativity. The songs and films I’m about to release are a true embodiment of my finally starting to understand, even if it’s just the tip of the iceberg, what it truly is to take care of my mind, body, and spirit.

Do you have a creative say in your music? Did you help write all your new songs?

Oh yes, I absolutely write all of my own music! A good audio engineer can make it sound good, but there’s no way you can sing a song from your heart unless you are part of its creation. That being said, I do have close family members and trusted souls whose ideas I listen to if it resonates with me. For example, on “Searching For You”, I had my beautiful and incredibly talented cousin Taylor Castro help with its creation, as well as [producer] Willy Perez-Ferria.

What does it feel like to be releasing your own original music?

To me, that’s the only way worth doing it. Music and acting are outlets to express myself and my innermost feelings in a way that might be difficult if we were just having a conversation. I’m always in search of that beautiful moment in whatever I’m doing.

Where did your love of music come from?

That’s a really good question. I guess it’s always been there. I’ve always felt sound waves from music coursing through me, making me want to dance and putting me in a different place. When you listen to something that moves you, there’s no feeling like it. If I had to pinpoint a moment, I would say back in high school, when I sang Aladdin on a karaoke machine for the first time. My sister had just finished singing the female part of “A Whole New World” when I happened to walk by and join her.

Will there be a music video for your new single? If so, can you tell us about the concept of the video?

For “Searching For You”, we already have a lyric video and a performance video out. For “Hell of a Night”, I have something special planned that I can’t wait to share.

How would you describe your fans? – what’s three words you would use to describe your fans?

Supportive, loving, and understanding

What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?

I hope my fam walks away with inspiration, love, hope, and joy! I have different songs for different moods, so I hope we can have an adventure together.

What do you want your supporters to know that you think is important?

I want everyone I care about to question their surroundings and figure things out for themselves, if possible. It feeds your soul, and that’s a big part of the message I’ll be trying to convey in my next album.

What’s something your fans don’t know about you?

I used to be really scared of the dark as a child! As you get older, you realize it’s not so much the dark you’re scared of, it’s not being able to see what’s in the dark that gets you: the unknown.

What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?

Perseverance

What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?

You better say hi!

Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?

Michael Jackson RIP ️but I would also love to have a convo with Bruno Mars.

What’s your current go-to song?

Check it out, here’s the link to a playlist I’ve been listening to all day every day to decompress from filming “Hell of a Night”: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3CbYC8axcYbQW2Ay4FUrTJ?si=TFfu0CtSQBCTKbkb6KVlHQ

Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?

There’s no better way to connect with others from all around the world and share your stories.

What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?

My biggest dream is to continue creating this new universe I’m about to introduce to everyone soon. I’ve already started releasing easter eggs about it all over my page.

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

Much love  And when the path gets difficult, together, we can do anything.
