Can you tell us a little something about each of you?

Lexi: I am a rising senior at Lioscomb University, my favorite drink is Starbucks venti green tea with three agave, I like basketball, and enjoy writing songs and short stories!

Savanna: I am a rising sophomore at Lipscomb Unfortunately, my favorite food at every restaurant is the bread they give you when you first sit down, and I love to play basketball/flag football!

What inspired you guys to pursue music?

We come from several generations of professional musicians including our father. Being a part of his career growing up gave us a love for music as well. Our faith, friends, and family inspire us to say something with our music.

What is it like being in a duo with your sibling?

For us, it’s something we are very comfortable with because we grew up up together. Having been through all of our trials and triumphs side by side, we both love what we do and love doing it together!

How would you describe your musical style as a duo?

Our music is country with a pop flare influenced by rock, pop and soul.

What artists do you guys look up to right now?

We enjoy a wide variety of artists including James Arthur, Maren Morris, Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood, P!nk, Adele, Kelsea Ballerini, Lady Antebellum, and Dan and Shay!

We are so excited to be premiering your new single, Parachute!! How excited were you guys to get this song out into the world?

Incredibly exited! We’ve been waiting for so long to finally share this acoustic version of Parachute with all of our fans, friends, and family. We can’t wait to see where it goes!

What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song?

We hope that listeners will engage with us; we want to be real with people and real with the music that we share. We are hoping that they resonate with the message and are inspired to join us for the crazy journey we are on as artists.

Can you tell us how this song came about and the meaning of the song?

The writer, Bobby Terry, is the one who introduced us to this song. We immediately attached it to our own lives as we’d both gone through heartbreaks. Having felt our first real experiences with love and the hurt of it falling apart, Parachute became a favorite of ours and one we are very invested in.

Are there any other projects in the works you can tell us about?

We have been writing a whole bunch these last few months! We have our next single lined up and are planning to write a few more before we head back to the studio to record some new music.

You guys are also about to head out on tour with American Idol’s Cade Foehner!! How excited are you guys to open for Cade?!?

YES!!! He is such an incredible artist and has a great quality to his voice that we love. We are excited beyond words and so blessed to have the opportunity to share a stage with him on his first headlining tour. We see big things in the future for him and can’t wait to follow his journey!

What’s your favorite part about being on tour?

We love to travel and see the world as we encounter it. We are look forward to growing closer with each other and our team on the road! And of course to perform and meet lots of great humans who come to the shows. 🙂

Will you guys perform your new single “Parachute” while on tour?

YES:) We are absolutely performing it every night!

What’s the feeling you get when performing your own music live in front of your supporters?

It’s one of those incredible things you can’t quite put into words. You feel so in the moment and so connected to everyone in the audience. We feel at home and completely ourselves when we are on a stage sharing our love of music with the world.

What social media platform do you use most to stay connected to your supporters?

Instagram! It’s a pretty close tie with Facebook as well, but we love to do live videos and share stories to keep people in the loop of what we have going on!

Why do you think social media is so important for singers today?

Social media is a direct line to our supporters and a place where they have a direct connect to us! The ability to communicate so easily with those who enjoy what we do helps us serve them better and feel like we are all close friends! We want everyone to feel seen and heard which is a great benefit of social media.

How do you want your relationship to be with your supporters?

We want them to feel like we are here for them, that we share in their struggles and happy times. We want to always relate to our fans and give them the music to match their hearts. We want them to see we are just like them, we love them, and that they are enough as they are.

Do you have any last things you want to tell your supporters?

COME SEE US ON TOUR! We love you guys more than words can describe:) We are so blessed and thankful for this journey and it’s only possible because of you!?
