Kolten Kirschke Chats With TMI About His New Single “Medicine”

Hey Kolten! So excited to be chatting with you again! Can you tell us what you’ve been up to since last we spoke?

Been busy really! Covid-19 hit since the last time we talked but it still gave me the opportunity to complete my second EP, finish up a voiceover project , and continue filming. Outside of showbiz just the ordinary gaming with friends and streaming live on Twitch.

You just released your new single “Medicine”! What’s been your reaction to the fan’s love for your new single?

So far the response has been really great! This new EP has a totally different vibe compared to my first EP and I’m really hoping everyone is as excited about it as I am. Hopefully the vibe and the lyrics will catch the playlist of teens around the world.

Can you tell us what this song means to you?

I’m sure the message will resonate with a lot of teenagers today, but sometimes you have that special someone that just doesn’t let you in, or even share how they feel. You can really start to feel closed off and if they would just open up you could help them.

How excited were you to get this single out into the world?

Anytime it’s time to release a single it’s crazy exciting!! A song can be complete for a while but still takes time for everything to come together before release day so I’m more than ready!

Do you have any other release plans for 2020? Maybe an album?

Yes! Our plan is to release a song each month from this second album and get the music videos out to everyone as well. There’s not much time left in 2020 so one song might have to release for the New Year.

What do you hope your supporters will think of the new music?

Think they are really going to like the songs on this EP. I’ve gotten older so not only have I changed by my sound and vibe has changed as well. I’m hoping they love it as much as I do.

Will there be a music video for your new single? If so, can you spill any details about the video?

Music videos are so fun and give an opportunity to visually tell the story. That’s what we are set to work on next just looking for the right girl to tell the story.

Would you be open to doing an IG live if your supporters wanted you to?

Always. Doing an Instagram live during the music video or in the studio would be an awesome time then you could catch all the behind the scenes.

Do you have any other projects in the works you could tell us about?

It’s been kinda quite during this quarantine time the only project I’m currently working on other than my music is Quantum Force. It’s an awesome sci-fi television series produced and directed by Fred Tee.
