Hey Katelyn! So excited to be chatting with you! You just released your debut single “Daisy Dukes” & it’s awesome! I love it!! How excited were you to get this single out into the world?

Thank you!! I have been so excited to share this.

What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song?

When people hear this song, I hope they think it’s catchy & witty , also catch on to the humor as well.

Can you tell us the backstory of this song? Is it based on your life with your friends?

I went to this bar in Carrollton & noticed a cocky country boy trying to get me to come over to him, while he was loving all over some girl. This is my way of curving him & enjoying the night.

You also have more music coming out in 2020!! Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to from you later this year?!?

Expect diversity & authenticity. Definitely some more southern gal music.

Do you have a creative say in your music? Did you help write all your new songs?

Oh absolutely. One of my favorite parts about being an artist is creating the content & songwriting.

What’s it feel like to be releasing your own original music?

It feels unreal! I love being able to share my feelings through music. Especially when people like it & relate.

Where did your love of music come from?

I’ve loved music since I’ve first heard it. Growing up, my parents always had music playing around me.

The video for your new single is super cute as well!! How did you come up with the concept for this video?

The video was actually filmed at my house ! I had my hometown friends & we had a bonfire & some drinks. My neighbor was kind enough to let us film at his barn! The concept was to show a country girl having a good time.

What’s been the pros and cons of pursuing your music career?

Pros would be chasing my dream and seeing it come to reality. Cons are not being able to preform due to Covid & still having to work a regular job.

Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?

God. My friend actually bought me my recording equipment & a computer when I first started out. Of course my Mom for always supporting me. & My managers for guiding me.

What do you think makes your fan community/fandom different from others?

I feel like my fans are genuine people & also love diverse music.

How would you describe your fans? – what’s three words you would use to describe your fans?

What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?

I want my fans to know that I’m down to Earth, friendly & just like you .

Are you planning any Live Stream shows to promote your new music?

I would love to

What is it like performing in front of your fans? Are you excited to start performing your own music live!?!
