Hi Joey!! So excited to be chatting with you! You just released the acoustic version of your new single!! How did this single come about? & What’s the meaning of this single?

Thanks for having me! Yeah “Yours or Mine” is the first song I wrote with my good friends Daniel Ross and Michael Whitwort and is my first release as an artist. It’s about the beginning stages of a relationship and the back and forth of who’s gonna call it what it is.

What do you hope your supporters will think of the new music? & What do you hope they’ll get from hearing your new songs?

I hope they can connect with the songs and get a better sense of who I am as a person and as an artist through my music.

Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to from you the rest of the year?!?

I’d love to get some more music out this year, so hopefully I’ll have something new for people to listen to.

Congrats on signing with Sony Music Nashville!! How excited were you to announce this amazing accomplishment?

I was really excited to share that news. I’ve been writing songs since the summer between my Freshman and Sophomore year of High School, so it was a big dream come true for me.

Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?

My parents, for supporting me throughout this whole process of me chasing this dream. My publisher Tim Hunze and Margaret Tomlin at Sony for believing and taking a chance on me when I moved to Nashville.

What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?

That I’m just a guy who loves writing songs and playing music. I hope they can hear that in my songs.

What do you want your supporters to know that you think is important?

That I love spaghetti and meatballs. It’s really important for me to let people know that.

What’s something your fans don’t know about you?

I used to be a magician before I was a musician.

What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?

Let’s take a picture!

Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?

I’d love to meet Paul McCartney. The Beatles were a huge influence for me.

Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?

Social media is important for fans to feel closer to the artist. Especially now during these times where we can’t play live music.

What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?

To continue to grow as a songwriter and be able to put out music that I love and connect with people.

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

I hope to meet you at a show someday in the near future 🙂
Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions ?
