You just released your new single, “Talk To Me”. How did this song come about? & Whats the meaning of the song?

I wanted to make a fun, rebellious song for my EP that my generation could relate to and was also pretty current. “Talk To Me” is about a time in my life where I stopped making apologies for being myself and started to embrace my individuality.

You’re currently working on your Debut EP. Can you spill any details about the new project- Title of EP? How many songs? Etc.

I can’t tell you the title of my EP just yet, but there is going to be 7 songs on it. The EP really lets you in on all the emotions I felt during that time, the good and the hard times.

What has it been like creating the new EP?

Creating this EP has been an incredible self-journey for me. I learned so much about myself and what I like and what I want my sound to sound like. I‘m so happy with how it turned out and I can’t wait for you all to hear.

Would you say this EP will be your biggest acomplishment in your music career so far?

I think my EP will definitely be my biggest accomplishment so far.

Have you had any moments while creating the EP that stood out to you?

During my sessions with Tony Rodini, we’d need to eat, obviously, and neither of us knew how to cook so we’d buy frozen food from Ralphs and make what we called “daddy meals”. We’d get Any’tizers, mac n cheese and sometimes corn bread. So unhealthy but so good. I seriously miss them so much.

Did any artists style influence you on this project?

I listen to a lot of artists, and not all pop music, but I was mainly trying to focus on what I wanted my music to sound like, and what was true to me. I really liked the group “Terror Jr.” production style and my producer had produced for them before, so they had a slight influence on mine. It’s a bop for sure.

Can we expect any collabs on this project?

There is one collab on the song that just kind of fell into place. It’s with a friend of mine and someone I really admire as an artist.

Are there any other projects in the works you can tell us about?

I’m writing a lot of new music. I also have my first show in LA coming up on May 31st at The Satellite. You should come 🙂

What’s an average day for you look like right now?

Aside from finishing up my last semester at Berklee School of Music Online, I normally have writing sessions, as well as piano and vocal lessons throughout the week. I’m in rehearsals for my show coming up, as well as some other live performances. I try to get out of bed early in the morning to work out, but let’s be honest.. that never happens.

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

Final words – yes. I just want to say thank you to everyone who has listened to either of my two singles that are out now, or even just my feature with CMC$. I read all of your comments and it makes me so happy that you guys enjoy listening to my music. I’m just insanely thankful.
