What have you been most proud of learning lately?
I’ve been proud of learning how to write more catchy hooks in my songs/improving my songwriting overall. I’ve been trying to take the time to understand how I can take my craft to the next level. I love this process for progress.
If you could do a duet, with anyone, living or not, who would it be and why?
I would like to duet with Bruno Mars because I love his music, his style, and we could definitely incorporate the performance with dance choreography. He’s an overall talented musician and performer, and it would be an amazing experience to work with him. Plus, his influences are aligned with the music I grew up listening to as well.
How do you recharge?
I like to give myself a spa day full of facials, haircare, skincare, etc. I also love watching movies, which helps draw creative inspiration for future song concepts and ideas.
Do you have any guilty pleasures?
I love binge-watching rom-coms, especially K-Dramas and Filipino rom-coms, or re-runs of my favorite shows like FRIENDS and Riverdale.
Night owl or morning person?
I’m a night owl, but I want to be a morning person!
Do you have a favorite holiday song?
My favorite holiday song is a tie between “Last Christmas” by Wham! and “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” by NSYNC. They’re both so fun!
If you had an extra hour in the day, how would you spend it?
I would spend that hour exercising and meditating.
