A great makeup video was just released starring singer Monogem, Coco Arquette (daughter of Courteney Cox and David Arquette) and Matthew RC Taylor.
As you may know, Monogem released her latest electro-pop single, “Wild,” and the video for the song features two friends — a young boy and girl — discovering makeup for the first time.
When asked why she wrote “Wild” she replied, “I wrote “Wild” as an anthem for myself and for anyone who has a hard time finding rest in being reckless. The song takes hold of that childlike spirit within you and puts it on center stage — unapologetically daring you to live up to your own standard. The video is a dreamy and colorful story about two best friends. I thought it would be interesting to create a visual showing two young teenagers getting wild in their own unique way. Amidst the kids’ smoky, neon reality, the boy is cross dressing for the first time in a safe and comfortable environment without any judgement.”
They continue to break these beauty and gender stereotypes by releasing a makeup video with MAC.

Monogem will also be releasing her EP this May and has an EP release show in Los Angeles on May 24 at the Bootleg Theater.
