Hey Nick! So excited to be chatting with you. You just released your new single “Who Needs To Know” & it’s amazing!! What’s been your reaction to all the success the new single has been having?!?

I’m happy people are hearing it and enjoying it! I write for other artists a lot, so it always feels good to release a song of my own out into the world 🙂

Can you tell us the meaning of the song and how it came about?

I wrote it with my friend Dave Kuncio, and we just had an idea to write a song about meeting someone in an airport and taking a spontaneous trip.

We are happy to be premiering the music video for your new single, “Who Needs To Know”. Can you tell us about the new video & how the idea got created?

The song has an 80s pop vibe, so we wanted to recreate that for the video. It looks like a movie that came out of the 80s ha.

Why do you think social media is so important to artists today?

Well you have to be connected to your fans, and hear their feedback, so it’s the best way to do that.

What social media platform do you use most to stay connected to your fans?

I mostly use Instagram (@nicklopezmusic).

How do you want your relationship to be with your fans?

I think my fans are different than lots of other people’s fans because they often are interested in music themselves and whenever I get stopped they always ask me for advice, which is so cool. Like this year at Coachella a few fans came up to me and asked about how they can get started in the music industry and stuff, which is great.

Are there any other projects in the works you can tell us about?

I’ve been writing with the incredible Annie LeBlanc, and she has a new song that I wrote releasing soon. I also wrote her last single “Over It” with Indiana Massara and Aliyah Moulden, which is a bop. Love working with those girls, such talents! I’ve also recently recorded a song with Dominique called “Posters.” It was great to sing and collaborate with her and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.

Any last things you would like to tell your supporters?

Thanks for listening and look out for lots of new music very soon 🙂
