What inspired you to pursue music?

I pretty much started singing about the same time I started talking. I grew up singing in church, at school, and at home with my sister and my dad on guitar. I was 3 the first time I performed on stage and I’ve been in love with it ever since. I think music is so powerful. It has the ability to heal, to connect, to make us dance, to make us cry, to inspire us. So I love creating music, I love sharing it and connecting with people through it.

How would you describe your musical style?

Pop

Did you have a break out song that started things for you?

“Hearts Will Break” was my first single and it gained attention from iHeart Radio’s “Most Requested Live with Romeo” along with some other Top 40 stations across the country.

Your new single “Good On You” came out on Valentines Day!! How excited were you to hear your supporters thoughts on the new song?

Yes!! I was very excited to release it. I love sharing new music!

Can you tell us the meaning of the song and how it came about?

This song came out super fast and easy with my co-writer and producer, Abe Stewart. We just had fun with it and it seemed to almost write itself. I wasn’t taking myself too seriously when that first phrase popped into my head – boy I like that shirt, but I’d like it better if it’s on the floor… it made us both laugh. Then from there, it turned into a playful and sweet song that quickly became one of my favorites.

We are so excited to be premiering the music video of your new single!! Can you tell us about the new video?

In this video, I wanted to explore reality vs the fantasy world. It was a really fun project because I got to work with a close friend of mine as the male lead and choreographer – Daniel Thomas. And I got to work with director Noah Miller again who has done a few projects with me. I can’t wait for everyone to see it!

With such a massive following, why do you think social media is so important to artists today?

I think social media is a great way to connect with fans! It also helps fans get to know me a little better and stay up to date on shows and new releases.

What social media platform do you use most to stay connected to your fans?

I’m most active on Instagram – @heathercolemusic

Does your fanbase have a name yet?

No, not yet! But I’m open to suggestions if anyone has a good idea!

Are there any other projects in the works you can tell us about?

I’m always working on new music, but you’ll have to wait and see 😉

Any last things you would like to tell your supporters?

Thank you for listening to my music! I hope to see you at a show soon. And if you haven’t already, please follow me on Instagram and Spotify!
