2020 was a crazy year for most of us. Trying to keep positive – What was the greatest moment of 2020 for you?
Being home with my family after spending four years traveling. Also, recording in Nashville with my team some of the most creative and silliest times to date.
You have just announced a bunch of awesome stuff you have been working on during quarantine. The first of which is your new single!! Were there any recording challenges because of the pandemic?
Not really. Obviously, we took precautions when flying and in the studio. Thankfully Nashville had lighter restrictions than other places.
It’s been a while since you have released original music. What led you to decide to release this single first? & What does this single mean to you?
Hometown Heart is an extension of my story. I came from a small Florida town, I’ve traveled a lot, but I always come back home.
Are you going to release a music video for your new single as well?
Yes, I am and so excited! Our videography team was amazing, and my video will certainly be different compared to others. We were also able to include family and good friends, which makes it extra special.
Have you been working on an album during this time off?
Yes, I have. I used the time to journal and truly worked on my music. Finally having time to just be still and focus on music was great.
Are there any acting projects in the works you can tell us about?
The industry is still struggling with the pandemic. However, I have had a lot of opportunities to submit auditions and have my fingers, toes, and eyes crossed for a booking.
Do you have any fun/funny set moments you can tell us about?
Filming Chicken Girls the Movie, the entire cast was together filming a dancing/singing scene, I jumped over a railing and yep, full face plant to the ground. I guess it wasn’t funny then, but now I laugh. Working with your friends on set is pretty much always a good time.
What’s your favorite part about being on set?
The environment. I love just watching what everyone is doing, the creative process behind all of it. However, hair and makeup daily is pretty awesome.
What do you love most about your supporters?
They see and appreciate me for who I truly am. They crave my goofiness in videos, etc. It’s great. I am also grateful for how supportive they are since sharing my faith openly on social media platforms.
What’s one word you would use to describe what your supporters have allowed you to accomplish?
Truth
How have you felt most appreciated as a creative and artist?
Allowing me to be me. I think I am funny, with a bit quirky, and love to share that side of me. Many seem to relate.
How do you want your music to be remembered?
Uplifting and relatable.
Who have been your strongest allies in your career?
My parents, first & foremost. My family for loving & supporting me. My music manager, Cody, is like the big brother I always wanted and my vocal coach Griff, he has helped me in so many ways.
What do you see as the most important part of your journey?
Not many people my age have done the things I have experienced, it’s humbling. Each project I’ve done is important to me and I always walk away with stronger relationships with others.

Why do you think social media is so important for teen artists like yourself?
Wow that is a hard question. Yes I do if it’s used properly. Social media is an important tool to reach many but it can be a weapon.
What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?
To hear my music play on main stream radio and book a role on TV sitcom.
If Hollywood made a movie about you, what would you want to be the title and who would you want to play each of you?
“Little Miss Hollywood” I would be honored to have Makenna Grace to play me.
