Hey Elle! So excited to be chatting with you!! Where did your love of music come from?
My love of music definitely came from growing up singing, and having friends who would sing with me. I think because I sang with my friends so much, I would connect certain memories to songs, and I would listen to music when I was sad. Basically I grew up loving music, so now I can’t live without it.
What goals have you set out for yourself in your career?
I want to begin songwriting, I believe if I put my mind to it, one day in my career I can release an album, and hopefully inspire people the way that other people’s music inspires me!
What’s your favorite part about being a singer/songwriter?
being creative and just feeling good singing to songs i love
What is one song that has greatly influenced your life?
That would definitely be Ribs by Lorde, whenever I feel nostalgic or nervous about growing up, I play that song, and I have just played it so many times when high school is really getting to me.
What would be your dream collaboration?
amy winehouse or lady gaga.. so maybe lady gaga is still possible 🙂
Do you have any projects in the works you can tell us about?
I’ve started a book of lyrics and poems as well as record some sections of songs. I just need to put them all together. Maybe this summer when I have more time.
If you could have a gigantic billboard anywhere with anything on it — metaphorically speaking, getting a message out to millions or billions — what would it say and why? (If helpful, it can be someone else’s quote: Are there any quotes you think of often or live your life by?)
If you never try, you can never live the life you want so get started
What is an unusual habit or an absurd thing that you love?
cracking my back is a habit that freaks some out as it cracks so much…
What advice would you give to someone who wants to pursue a career in music? What advice should they ignore?
just keep trying to do what you enjoy no matter what anyone says, ignore the negatives.
When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, or have lost your focus temporarily, what do you do?
listen to music and/or draw – I have tons of sketchbooks and a ticktok account for some of them. another creative outlet.
What social media platform do you use most? Where can people find out what projects you have going on?
For singing I started a tiktok account but it didn’t take off so started putting the singing tiktoks on my instagram and they do better so instagram seems to house all my social platforms the best right now. I just started not too long ago as I was too shy before but now have become more comfortable with it and just started an igtv as well to put whole song covers on there. Hopefully I’ll be posting my original songs soon.
I have been on youtube forever but deleted most of the old videos as I got older as they were from when i was in elementary doing diys and stuff. Now they are vlogging when I go somewhere usually although may be other things as well just for fun. Instagram seems to be taking off the most for me though now combining all my creative outlets including the singing, acting, art, depop and tiktoks are usually with my friends.
Do you have any other talents other than singing?
ya so I have been in acting since I was seven landing a lead role in a film in LA and have been in various films, tv, plays, commercials and voice overs since. I did a lot of singing voice overs when I was younger which was fun. I also love art which is displayed on my insta account some as well as tictok. I have a redbubble account where i design pop fad art where i sell a ton of stickers. I actually started making decent money on it which surprised me about a year ago. I also started a depop account where I upscale used clothes and embroider things on them and sell them. I’m also a cheerleader and play on the tennis team at school during the year too.
