Thanks for being with us today. Please share more with our readers about “Didn’t Mean It”!

“Didn’t Mean It” is my newest single. It’s a collaboration with BUD that will be released on Nov. 20th. The song was inspired by the things we say impulsively when caught up in a moment but don’t really mean. It’s easy to say what people want to hear and so much harder to be honest. This is something I’ve witnessed a lot of people struggle with, and it ultimately ends up hurting more than helping.

What is the greatest thing about being a musician in Nashville?

Being a musician in Nashville, I am always surrounded by other talented musicians. Collaborating is a huge part of the music industry and one of my personal favorite things. I love going to live shows and writers’ rounds and meeting other musicians. Of course, this has changed since Covid, but with technology, it is still possible to collaborate and write with other artists.

Where did you meet BUD and when did you know you would be making music together?

BUD and I have some mutual friends who connected us after realizing we have a love for the same kind of music. We actually met over facetime! After talking for a while and connecting over our love of music, we decided that this collaboration was something we had to do.

What was it like working on this song together?

So much fun! I flew out to Los Angeles to work on some songs with him, and it was by far one of my favorite experiences as an Artist. BUD and I got a lot of work done while still having a good time in the studio. It was a few long days, but it never really felt long. Time went by way too fast on that trip if you ask me!

We can see you’re extremely talented, but are there any hidden talents you would like to share?

Thank you! I used to love to act but music was always my first love. However, in the time that I was into acting, I worked on some accents and have a pretty killer Australian accent, if I do say so myself.

When do you feel most creative?

As a songwriter, as well as an artist, I feel most creative when I sit down with my guitar, a pen, and some paper. I love writing and feel the most inspired by things that happen to me or the people around me in my day to day life.

Go to song to get pumped up?

That would be “I’m Good” by the Mowgli’s. I love the lyrics in this song and it never fails to put me in a good mood!

Please tell our readers where to follow you and get the latest news! Thank you again! Best of luck with your new single!
