What led you to pick this Christmas song to cover?

I love James Brown’s music and the song hits close to home. It is a very soulful and jazzy song that brings a smile to my face and joy to my heart.

You also have more music coming out in 2020!! Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to next year?!?

My cousin and I are working on an original song. We started writing it and playing around having fun, but we think it maybe something to impact the youth.

Do you have a creative say in your music?

Absolutely. I have an awesome team that supports my vision and my ideas, but will also suggest that I take another direction, if necessary.

What’s it feel like to be releasing your own music?

This Christmas single Santa ‘Clause Go Straight to the Ghetto’ is a cover; however, I cannot truly express how excited, nervous and overjoyed I am, to be releasing my own music! I truly hope my fans love it and anticipate what’s next. So stay tuned.

Will there be a music video for your new single? If so, can you tell us about the concept of the video 🙂

Well, due to my shooting and school schedule, I started on the song a little late. I literally did this in 4 weeks! So, unfortunately I didnt have the time I needed to also do a music video for the song. I am however, definitely going to do a music video, next Christmas. Thankfully Christmas comes every year!

Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?

I would like to send a big thank you to Esteban Calderon with ESTICO, who produced the single.  He was willing to take on the challenge of producing this song with such a small time-frame. I would also like to thank my dad who created the cover art for the single. And lastly, but certainly not least, a huge thank you to my mom and bonus dad and the rest of my family, for always supporting me in all that I do and being there for me always.

What do you think makes your fan community/fandom different from others?

Definitely the way they digest and interpret the projects that I do. I definitely feel like I have a more mature audience.

How would you describe your fans? – what’s three words you would use to describe your fans?

Mature, loving, selfless

What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and film projects?

I want my fans to know that if you want to do something, fully commit to doing it. You can not drive a whole month on a half tank of gas. Somewhere along the line you’ll have to stop and get gas. The more gas you have, the further you will go.

You are currently in the hit show “Just Roll With It”. What do you love most about being on this show?

I get to work with an amazing cast, some phenomenal writers and extraordinary creators. While I have to learn lines from the script, I’m also able to improvise on something I have no clue is going to happen.

Do you have any other film projects in the works?

None that I can disclose at this time.

Are you planning any shows to promote your new music?

Yes, I am performing on Dec. 7th 1 to 5pm at the Spreading the Holiday Love event, put on by Teens Wanna Know. They are raising funds and awareness for Autism.

What is it like performing in front of your fans? Are you excited to start performing your own music live!?!

I am definitely nervous to preform in front of my fans, but I am completely overjoyed to have the opportunity to do so.

What do you want your supporters to know that you think is important?

My number one thing that I want all my supporters to know is that you have a voice. No matter age, ethnicity, or belief your opinion matters. It may not matter to everyone, but it matters.

What’s something your fans don’t know about you?

They probably don’t know that I had a pet fish that survived for 2 years.

With an already massive fanbase your fans must they have a name for themselves. What do your fans call themselves? And How did that fanbase name catch on?

My fan base does not have a name for themselves yet but, if they were to have a name, I think that the Reediculous Squad is pretty cool.

Many of your supporters are starstruck when they meet you Have you ever been starstruck?

The only time I recall being starstruck is the time I met Will Smith but, he was so nice and genuine in his interactions, all the nerves just went away.

What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?

The only thing I want them to know is if they do think they see me in public don’t stare and follow it never hurts to ask is it really me. LOL

Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?

I would definitely love to meet Fantasia, Jermaine Dupri, Timbaland, Lizzo, and TI

Why do you think social media is so important for teen artists like yourself?

Social media in the society we live in today is very important to build your brand and acquire supporters but, social media also affects some teens in an unhealthy way. So, it just depends on how you use it.

What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?

My biggest goal is to teach a positive life lesson to everyone and to one day be established and wealthy not just in the sense of finances, but all around wealthy.

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

I sincerely appreciate every ounce of support that they deliver on a daily bases and I would not be the Ramon I am today without them.
