Hey Dina! So excited to be chatting with you! You just released your new single “Only Human”! How excited were you to get this song out into the world?
Thank you so much for having me. I was waiting for the right time to release it and I am so excited for people to hear it. It’s definitely different than any song I’ve ever done.
Can you tell us the backstory of this song?
I was going through a lot of depression and anxiety when the song was written. I’ve always had high expectations of myself but being a perfectionist sometimes halts my success. I wanted a song to help people that might have the same struggles.
You also have more projects coming out soon!! Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to from you the rest of the year?!?
I have a few new singles I’ll be releasing. I’m really excited to put more music out there than ever before.
Do you have a creative say in your music?
Yes I am 100% in creative control of everything I do.
Did you help write all your new songs?
Yes I write all of the songs I have released so far.
What’s it feel like to be releasing your own original music?
It is always a vulnerable experience which can sometimes feel uncomfortable. But it also feels liberating and empowering to be able to express myself through music and finally to be living my dream.
Will there be a music video for your new single? If so, can you tell us about the concept of the video
Yes there will be. I want it to be kind of a darker concept than my other videos and more dancing.
What’s been the pros and cons of pursuing your music career?
Pros living my dream, having people hear my music, performing all over Los Angeles, having complete creative control
Cons- the business side of the industry and all the costs that come with it
Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?
My friend Candace has been kind of my mentor from the beginning. She’s the one that connected me with my music producer Aj. My guitarists’ Bryan Gill and Erik Spencer both are a huge part of my live performances. It means a lot to have the support of Birdee at bsquared Mgmt too.
How would you describe your fans? – what’s three words you would use to describe your fans?
Caring, colorful, and fun
What do you think makes your fan community/fandom different from others?
A lot of my fans are huge Britney fans which is super cool because we definitely relate in that way. I grew up listening to her and it means a lot when people say they hear her influence in my music.
Are you planning any IG Live shows to promote your new music?
Yes I will be working doing many ig live shows this month. I usually play piano and sing.
What is it like performing in front of your fans?
It’s really fun to sing songs that people know and love. That means more to me than I can even explain. I think the main thing is just hoping they feel something from my performance.
What’s something your fans don’t know about you?
I design all my single covers myself! I took photography classes my whole life and my other biggest passion is taking photos of people and doing all my friends hair and make up. Fashion is also a huge passion of mine. I hope to have a fashion line one day.

Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?
To be able to connect with your fans and put your own content out there show authenticity which is the most important thing.
What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?
To get a label or publishing deal And go on tour
