Hey Brian! What would you say brought on your passion for acting at such a young age?

Growing up I would always watch the Disney Channel and see kids just like me living out their dreams and having so much fun doing so. Realizing that acting and storytelling, something I’d always been passionate about, was something that could also become a career was such an important and influential moment in my life. Being exposed to this is what truly sparked my passion for acting.

What is one movie that has greatly influenced your life?

Bohemian Rhapsody. I’ve always looked up to Queen and they have always inspired me and my performance. Not only did it motivate me to further my musical career but it showed me all of the effort that goes in to becoming a legend in the music industry. As a singer AND actor it spoke to me on both ends. One, how much I want to make my mark on the music industry, and two, also how incredible it would be to portray one of these legendary figures.

What would be your dream acting role?

Anything on a Netflix series or other streaming platform would honestly be a dream. Character wise- I really like the vibe of Clay from Thirteen Reasons Why. I love the highschool drama edge and such an important message.

You are best known for your role in Hitstreak on Showmobile. What has this role been like for you?

This role was so insane to play. It was interesting because I played myself on a webseries following me and the lives of three others as we broke into the music industry. It was truly such a cool experience because it featured everything I loved. We even got to be featured on Radio Disney which was a highlight of my life!

Has this role opened doors for you in the acting world?

It gave me so much real world experience. At the time this series started I was young and hadn’t ever been on a “real set.” Having this experience and training has helped me so much to build my repertoire and further my career.

Do you have any other acting projects in the works you can tell us about?

Right now the industry is shut down and a lot is on hold with everything going on BUT if you follow me on social media (Brian Inerfeld across all platforms) I will be able to share some super exciting projects very, very soon!

If you could have a gigantic billboard anywhere with anything on it — metaphorically speaking, getting a message out to millions or billions — what would it say and why? (If helpful, it can be someone else’s quote: Are there any quotes you think of often or live your life by?)

“The person who says something is impossible should not interrupt the person who is doing it.”

What is an unusual habit or an absurd thing that you love?

I love to meditate. Taking just a few minutes out of a busy days fast pace is so refreshing to me. I don’t always get to do this everyday but on the days that I can, I feel exponentially better and more inspired.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to pursue a career in acting? What advice should they ignore?

Just do it! If this is something you love and are passionate about you should run with it for as long as you can. People will tell you its not a stable career and to give up, but you have to remember why this is something you love. It is attainable, you just have to dive into it full force.

You also just completed a new single with Paul Anthony! Can you spill any details on this new single?

Yes, yes, yes. It was such an honor to be featured alongside the legendary Paul Anthony and the Full Force Bros. We couldn’t imagine this song being any more timely than right now. It is dedicated to all of our heroes out there; the doctors, nurses, and first responders putting their lives on the line for our community. It’s uplifting and our goal is to show people that nothing is stopping them for attaining their “cape.” Also, I’m super excited to announce there may or may not be another special version of the song coming out in August: stay tuned! 🙂

What did your love of music come from?

This is funny- I honestly don’t know. My family was never a “listening to music” crowd so I kind of found music on my own and I am forever grateful that I did.

What do you hope your supporters will think of your new music?

It’s current and different! With the help of Paul Anthony I want to do my part to bring music back to the amazing thing it was back in the day. It’s not overly saturated with pop tones but its certainly edgy and fun!

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, or have lost your focus temporarily, what do you do?

Exercise. Working out is something that just allows me some time to better myself, but also just think and reevaluate where I am at. Even on these days, I know that because my love for music and acting is so immense, I will find my way back home.

How do you want your relationship to be like with your supporters?

A friendship all the way. I want to always be growing alongside my supporters and becoming better for them. I want to be involved in their lives and make music that speaks to them directly.

What’s something your fans don’t know about you?

I’m actually really involved with non-profit work. I am a program manager for a bullying and suicide prevention organization where I have led several of our annual youth leadership programs. Additionally, I have toured schools raising awareness of bullying prevention and was the founding member of Tunes-for-Tots to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?

Come up to me and say hi! I love meeting new people!

What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?

I want them to know that anything is possible and within reach. From my music I want to leave an impression on their lives. I want my music to speak to them, inspire them, make them feel good, dance and just to be outlet for them to have fun and enjoy.

What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?

Giving. They’ve allowed me to give them a piece of myself in every song, cover, and project I have been a part of.

Is there anyone in the acting world you are dying to meet?

Leonardo DiCaprio, I have always been such a huge fan of his work and he is such an acting inspiration.

Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?

Besides the obvious answer of finding promotion on social media, it is so important right now, more than ever, to spread positivity and inspiration. Whether it be sharing an inspirational post or a song giving insight to my life, it is everything right now.

What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?

Netflix original series, I am coming for you! Also, I would love to start touring with my music once its out there. So many goals- time to make them happen!

Any last things you’d like to tell your supporters?

Thank you, thank you, thank you! This whole industry revolves around getting the support of your community and I could not do what I am doing without yours. Thank you for growing beside me and making me feel so valued. I want you to know how valued YOU are and remind you that you can achieve ANYTHING you put your mind to. You can take the world!
