Hey Anastasia!! So excited to be chatting with you. You just released your new single “Up In Smoke”!! Can you tell us what this song means to you?
So my single “Up in Smoke” means a lot to me because I wrote it when I was at a place in my life where I realized that giving up is never an answer no matter what context it is in. Life is about fighting for what and who you believe in.
How excited were you to get this single out into the world?
I was extremely excited to release this single but it took a little longer because I wanted to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it to sound before releasing it to the world.
Do you have any other release plans for 2020?
I am currently working on more songs and should have another single coming out within the next few months (its my personal favorite). I feel like my songwriting skills has grown so much since I put out my last single.
What do you hope your supporters will think of the new music?
I really hope my supporters will love the song and can relate to the meaning and message as well. I know for me whenever I can relate to a song, it makes it more special and that is what I hope my song can be to others.
How do you want your relationship to be like with your supporters?
I want to be very interactive, hopefully meet some, and for them to know I love them so much and am forever grateful for all the support.
What’s something your fans don’t know about you?
One thing many people do not know about me is that I had a rough childhood growing up. Both of my parents were/are incarcerated so it was difficult when I felt like I had little support. My parents were addicted to drugs and that came first before me. BUT this did not stop me in achieving my goals where I graduated high school as valedictorian and was blessed to receive a full ride scholarship to college. I used my struggles and pain to work on building the life I wanted and did not let my past define who I am. Music has always been an escape for me.
What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?

What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?
I want to send a message to other kids who are struggling and might not have the best life at home that you can choose your path and what you want to do in life. Just because your life is tough, doesn’t mean you can’t change the outcome of your future. Never give up hope, and always work on being the best person you can be.
What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?
Dreams. They have allowed me to make it one step closer to my dream.
Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?
I think social media is difficult because it can be very toxic but it is also very important for artists because it gives us a platform. It allows us to show our music and art to the world and hopefully grow more.
What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?
My biggest goal as of right now is to continue to write more songs. I would love to write a song with a DJ and feature on a track, as well as write for other artists as well.

I love you from the bottom of my heart and am so thankful you have no idea! 🙂
