Hey Alexander! So excited to be chatting with you! You’ve just released your new single!! What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song?

Hi guys! I’m excited to be here. Yes, so I released ‘Doesn’t Matter To Me’, February 26th and it’s definitely a more mature vibe than my debut singles last year. As I grow my fans do too, and so I am hoping they will relate to the lyrics – as I did writing them.

Can you tell us the backstory of this song? Is it from a real experience?

When we first heard the beat for this song, we were in the car driving. My mom started creating a bit of a melody, she always starts with the chorus, and within a few times of listening to the music she said, all I am hearing from this song, is it doesn’t matter to me. We discussed what we thought didn’t matter – as teenagers. We talked about forbidden love when family or friends don’t approve of different relationships. Peer pressure and suchlike. Then once we had our general theme, we sat with another writer and hashed it out. I am pretty proud of this record because I had direct lyrical input – everything I sing I believe in.

You also have more music coming out in 2021!! Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to from you this year?!?

Oh yes!! I have SO much music hitting this year. Last year I was just warming up to a music career. Every two months we are releasing music, and I have written on every single record and will do so going forward. Alright, I’ll dig deep – Doesn’t Matter To Me, California, We Are, Cherry Bomb all before the end of summer!

Do you have a creative say in your music? Did you help write all your new songs?

Absolutely – as of 2021, I am fully involved and engaged in the music process and lyrics. I am in the studio too, adding ideas of sounds, instruments, and of course all the harmonies and backing vocals are me.

What does it feel like to be releasing your own original music?

Amazing – I know people start recording cover songs, but truthfully, I started out releasing my own music. I am incredibly fortunate.

Will there be a music video for your new single? If so, can you tell us about the concept of the video 🙂

Yes! I just finished filming it. We went to the LA River, in the exact location where John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John filmed the drag car race scene in the 1978 film, ‘Grease’. It is a phenomenal location. It’s just me walking along the river, telling the story of the song. It’s just me because it’s hard to film still with COVID and online school – it’s easier to keep it simple.

Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?

Yes, I would like to thank my mum. She is my rock.

How would you describe your fans? – what’s three words you would use to describe your fans?

Friends, Amazing, My Crew

What’s something your fans don’t know about you?

I would say one thing that most people don’t know is I horse ride and have done since I was able to sit on a horse at age 3. I ride both English and Western. Where our horse is kept are a few goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and two pot belly pigs. I visit pretty much everyday and it’s my way of staying grounded with nature.

Many of your supporters are starstruck when they meet you Have you ever been starstruck?

I have been in the entertainment business since I was 6, so I have met so many amazing people in that time. I don’t get star struck as I guess I know these guys are just ordinary folk like me.

What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?

Fans should know that they can ALWAYS ask for a photo and I will stop and do that with them. I want people to know that I am super approachable. Come up, say Hi and tell me how your day is going.

Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?

Harry Styles – I really want to work with him on some music.

What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?

Right now, my biggest dream goal is to book a TV or movie role, and sign with a major record label. I’d like to get that squared away before the summer!! Sending out good vibrations for that!

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

As artists, without solid support and fans we really are nothing – so THANK YOU for following my journey. I have a long way to go, so thank you for sticking it out with me.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this interview! Can’t wait to see all that you accomplish & hopefully we can talk again soon 🙂

Thank you for having me – I hope you enjoy ‘Doesn’t Matter To Me and its music video! xx
