Hey Andrew! So excited to be chatting with you! You are gearing up to release your next single! Can you tell us the backstory of this song? Is it from a real experience?

Likewise is not from a real experience. The message of the song is my first attempt to write a song with vivid story line. A lot of my writing is influenced from watching movies and learning from others experiences.

You also have more music coming out in 2020!! Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to this summer?!?

I spent most of 2019 writing and recording. I have over 30 songs written and recorded. Right now we are trying to figure out which ones fit into projects like an EP and which ones will be released as singles. Get ready for more pop love songs.

Do you have a creative say in your music? Did you help write all your new songs?

I write every word of the songs I’ve recently recorded. In addition, I often lay down the creative tracks for producing before we go into the studio. My vision is always valid in the recording process.

What’s it feel like to be releasing your own original music?

This is this is the first release of 2020 and it’s almost like a breath of fresh air because I’ve spent so much time writing and recording that I forgot the feeling of releasing new music. The feeling is great.

Will there be a music video for your new single? If so, can you tell us about the concept of the video 🙂

Yes, we are working on it but we already have a live band video which will be coming out soon. I’m hoping to have a video for the song that features a lot of different moody scenes.

Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?

Yes, I can’t believe how many people it takes to get music from my vision to actual publication. My manager, Blake German and his team at Playbook Management is the rock of my team. Kara Hammond has been a critical team member and she’s provides most of our visuals and videos. My guy Hop mastered and mixed the song.

What do you think makes your fan community/fandom different from others?

I think fans connect with an artist because they share the same vision of what music means to them. A lot of my fan base are teenagers just like me and we share a lot of common interests.

How would you describe your fans? – what’s three words you would use to describe your fans?

Worldwide (it’s amazing how many fans have connected with me from countries all over the world)

Sweet (my fans are genuinely some of the nicest and most respectful people I’ve ever met)

Supportive (when a new song comes out, they comment, engage and listen)

What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music?

I want them to feel good. I don’t make sad music. I want fans to have a positive take away from my music.

What’s something your fans don’t know about you?

I like to crunch on ice and sometimes it gets on my mom’s nerves. But it has to be the special kind of ice, you know the kind you get at Chick-fil-a.

What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?

My fans have allowed me to make more music and to have the opportunity to explore different avenues of the music world.

With an already massive fanbase your fans must they have a name for themselves. What do your fans call themselves? And How did that fanbase name catch on?

Some of my fans started calling themselves BeWeavers because I was young, singing pop music and it was a take off of Justin Bieber’s fanbase. Hoping at some point we can find something more unique in the future.

What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?

I want them to know I love meeting and talking with my fans. Please make sure they know I want them to say hi.

Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?

The head of a record label so they can sign me…lol! I like a lot of artists, but right now, a record label executive, a&r rep is on the top of my list.

Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?

It’s a critical platform for sharing music and it’s really important to remember you have to put in a lot to get a lot. It’s also really interesting that you can grow a complete fan base and never have a in person show.

What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?

Getting signed and having a budget. I have so many more songs to write and record and need someone to help me figure out a way to make that happen.

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

Thank you for every stream! I appreciate your support. Go stream Likewise and let’s make more music together!
