Hey 2Four!! So excited to be chatting with you. You are gearing up for the release of your new single! Can you tell us what this song means to you?

Thank You! And yes gearing up for my new single Light Show which drops May 15th and it’s a song that’s in the edm / electronic wave and I haven’t done anything like it in a while. I was in the mindset of festivals and parties and shows and the atmosphere around them so it’s a fun hard hitting song that’s gonna make some noise.

How excited are you to get this song out into the world?

Very excited. This is the really fun part of finally releasing the sound after a long time of putting it together and all the technical stuff being at the forefront. I can’t wait to see the response it gets.

Do you have any other release plans for 2020?

I plan on releasing more music this year for sure. I had a great release of my first single this year “Party Time” and now Light Show is next up but there will be more to come.

What do you hope your supporters will think of the new music?

Hopefully everyone likes the sound and vibe that it brings and we will see if it’s a sound people would like to hear from me more.

How do you want your relationship to be like with your supporters?

I would like for it to be more intimate and to have people feel like they can relate to some of the things I have been through and can have a sort of escape when they hear my music.

What’s something your fans don’t know about you?

I think something not a lot of people know is that before I was fully focused on my music I played sports. Not just playing to play I was in college playing with aspirations of going pro and from my point of view had I kept going I had a better shot than a lot of others but I love sports to this day and I’m a huge fan of a bunch of different sports but it always came back to my love for the music and that’s why I’m at where I’m at.

What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?

Speak lol. Come say hey or say you like my music or anything. I’m very approachable and it goes back to the type of relationship I’d like with fans is a little more personable and intimate. I have no problem chatting with anyone or taking a pic or whatever.

What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?

I just want people to know that I am a regular person who just so happens to do music. I hope that people find things in common and can relate to some of the things I put out. I also want people to understand that I try to push the envelope and do different things and experiment so if a certain song isn’t your cup of tea that’s totally okay and in some ways it’s by design. I like to hear feedback no matter if it’s positive or no so positive.

What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?

Freedom. When it comes to music I do what I want. I’m not on a label currently and I don’t have anyone pulling strings on what I think sounds good and what I want people to hear so the freedom to experiment and try different things is something that I really enjoy.

Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?

Well I think social media is just the new normal for all types of business now. Everyone is online and at all times these days so you have a consistent connection to people. I think it’s important for artist because it eliminates that wall of connecting with your base and letting them into your space and it helps you stay locked in and visible.

What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?

To be able to fully do music full time and to be able to do it on the scale that I know I am capable of. My career is definitely picking up and numbers are increasing and all of that so I am on the path to fully being able to dive into my creativity without distraction but music doesn’t fully pay the bills quite yet and that’s where I want to get to. When I can do that I’ll know that I’ve made it.

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

Thank you so much for everyone that is supporting and listening to my music so far. I have a lot more coming so please stay locked in with me and tell a friend. I can’t wait to show more of what I have been working on.

Thank you for taking the time to do this interview with us 🙂
