What inspired you to try music?
I was inspired by R&B and Go-Go type music being from the DMV (Virginia) but as I got older I began to like all genres of music.
What instruments do you play?
Well I play acoustic guitar, I would like to learn how to play the piano I always thought that would be cool.
What would you say is your favorite instrument? Why?
You know that would be the piano for sure Ainsley. It’s such a dynamic instrument and its sound so complex with great harmonies. To me any instrument sound good with the piano.
Did you want to be a singer when you were little, or did that develop later on?
Oh yes! It was set in stone when I was young. When I would lock myself in my room and sing all day (Laughs) Definitely when I was little I knew music was what I wanted to pursue. I always had a dream of being a singer performing on stage.
Are you wanting to get more involved in singing?
Yes girls night out was a fun pop song I feel Every girl can relate too but this EP is going to have more singing and giving it a pop twist to it I feel the fans is going to love.
How would you describe your musical style?
With this EP I’m Working on it’s Very upbeat with a lot of bass and percussion which I love
Are there any artists that you look up to right now?
Of Course ! I’ll give two artist that I respect their work that would be Janet Jackson and Amerie.
Have you ever been starstruck by anyone you’ve met so far?
You know I went to the BET Awards last year and I was very humbled to see Kendrick Lamar I respect His Body of music so That’s one person I would say.
Can we expect any new music soon? If so can you spill some details about them?
EP!! Yes currently I am working on an EP with Couple of produces in Atlanta. This Ep I promise is definitely going to be a banger !
Are there any other projects in the works you can tell us about?
Right Now i’m just focusing on my music but I expect a lot more from Kerstin Recole 🙂
What are your friends and parents thoughts on your career in singing and social media?
They are proud & very supportive especially my parents because like I said they know my passion for music. So they are 100 percent behind me.
What goals have you set out for yourself in your career and in your personal life?
My goals I set out for my career right noe is you continue to grow base with great music and for my personal life my goal is take advantage of any opportunity that comes my way and remain humble along my journey.
What is your advice anyone gave you as a singer?
Advice that I got from the producer Jazze Pha who is so humble and has great spirit. I met him at Ayo & Teo-Relox video shoot. Jazze pha listened to my song and I sung for him and he was shocked he told me my song was super dope and give my advice being young teenage in the music industry to remain humble and learn as much as you can about the music industry. And actually his the one who inspired me to start doing youtube covers. With taking that advice everything been going up from there.
You recently released your hit single “Girls Night Out”, What was the process like creating this song?
Really when I founded the beat immediately started dancing I knew it was going to be a hit song. So I kept replaying the beat and then the writing process started to happened and flow. After I was done writing it I really just want to record it I knew it had to be heard. (Laughs)
You also do a lot of cover songs. What’s the process of choosing a cover song for you to sing?
It’s just songs i really enjoy listening to or I may think they have a dope beat so I change up the word a little and record it. I try not to over think it really it’s just a fun things I love to do.

What social media platform do you use most to stay connected to your fans?
Oh Instagram for sure
How do you want your relationship to be with your fans?
My fans mean everything to me. Our relationship is very valuable to me without them I wouldn’t be where I am now I love my fans.
Does your fan base have a name?
You know what No not YET ! for this EP im dropping my fan base name. You got Any suggestion for the name ?? (LAUGHS )
What was the craziest fan encounter you have had?
You know i really haven’t had that crazy fan encounter yet but I would say one was when I was in lenox mall and it was crowded and this girl pushed some people out the way and run up to me and just hugged me and ask for a picture then more people started coming up after she did. It was fun meeting everyone that support me.
Do you have any other talents other than singing?
Yes Other than my passion singing. I dance I have been dancing seen I was about five years old.I studies russian Ballet. I also am into Acting gives me an opportunity to express myself and be different characters which is always an fun experience for me.
