Hey Angelic, Can you tell us about your new single “Curfew”?

“Curfew,” is about growing up and wanting to be independent, but still having to respect your parents and their rules. I think whether you have a curfew now or if you’re a bit older and had a curfew when you were younger you’ll be able to relate!

What’s the process of writing one of your songs?

The process is constantly changing as I grow, but writing and recording with my team is just amazing ! An Idea is developed from us checking how we are feeling that day. We share things we have observed or heard and go from there.

You made a name for yourself in the music industry by posting cover videos on YouTube. What’s the process of choosing a cover song for you to sing?

When I was choosing a cover it was all about liking the song and if I related and jammed with it. Now I am focused on my own music #coverme – LOL

Why did you decide to start posting on YouTube? & What’s the benefits of having a following on such a huge platform like YouTube?

I started posting on YouTube when I was eight and soon learned that it is a great place to grow, learn and showcase my talent as well as build my fantastic fanbase.

You have also created a huge social media presence for yourself. Why do you think social media is so important for singers today?

I think social media is pretty important – It allows me to have a place that I can control content and update supporters when I put new music out or even post real cool stuff just for fun !

With a massive following already your supporters must have a name for themselves. Does your fan base have a name?

Yess my fan base name is called “fangelics” hahah and they made it by themselves ! #fangelics

How do you want your relationship to be with your fans?

I love my fans, and appreciate them – when they comment I always try to respond.

What was the craziest fan encounter you have had?

The craziest fan encounter was when I just moved to LA and this girl was here for vacation and she started crying when she saw me and I was like “woahhhh omgg” it was pretty insane but so grateful for the way she cared ❤️

What social media platform do you use most to stay connected to your fans?

I would honestly say that I stay updated with my fans on Instagram the most as it seems to be where fans can engage with me and each other the easiest. I also engage with fans on Youtube.

You recently collaborated with several major companies such as the clothing company Justice & Dreamworks, can you tell us a little bit about what those experiences were like for you?

I feel so lucky to have had the chance to have worked with amazing brands like these because at some point they have all made an impact to everyone’s life. Those Dreamworks Movies always get to me. I also remember shopping at Justice and wanting the wholeeee store!! They were so great to me and really allowed me to be as creative as I wanted.

What’s an average day for you look like?

Everyday is an adventure and always different – In one day I can have back to back meetings, record in the studio, and sometimes get to an event OR I can be completely lazy and just chill with my family !

What goals have you set out for yourself in your career and in your personal life?

To be kind and grateful to everyone, everyday!!

How has this whole music career experience been?

I have met some incredible people , learned so much about the business, my craft and myself. I am never happier than when I am creating and making music , I really mean it. I consider myself very lucky to have the opportunities I do because this is my dream. Making music is my life …

Do you have any last things you want to tell your supporters?

I love you guys. I don’t know what I’d do without you all. You are the best EVER EVER EVERRRRRR in the world ❤️❤️❤️ #neverstopdreaming
